A Blustery Day

Black Thursday, 2010. We don’t go to town on Black Thursday.

The leaves have mostly fallen, although every once in a while another makes its way to the ground. It’s cold and damp, though not near freezing. Looking out the window of our office, it looks like the wind is moving, some. The sky is partly cloudy with a blue patch here and there. It is an “Oh look, there’s a sky in the cloud!” sort of day. Only an occasional bird, and pick-up trucks and cars going by on the highway, seem to be moving.

All in all, a good day to curl up with Texas Grandma, a good book, and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

Thank you, God, for your blessings.

P.S. Wow, the sun just came out for a minute. Glorious!
