Life in the Aquarium

There is a fish tank in my office, with a couple of inhabitants. There are some big rocks on the floor of the tank, resting on the gravel among the plants, and the fish have excavated a cave under the largest rock. They have dug down through the gravel, all the way to the glass on the bottom of the tank, and cleared an area several inches across of bare glass, from which the area under the tank is visible.

Why does this make me think of the Hubble Space Telescope?

Makes you wonder if we’re all just sitting on God’s desk somewhere.
